The Board of Directors of Rockford Fine Arts Coalition has made the difficult decision to dissolve. It has been an honor and a privilege for the Rockford Fine Arts Coalition to serve our mission over the past 5 years, to preserve, enhance, and promote the Rockford Public Schools Fine Arts programs. In furtherance of our mission and dedication to the Rockford Public Schools, we have donated remaining funds to Rockford Area Arts Council with the stipulation that the funds be used to benefit the students of Rockford Public Schools. We would like to thank all who have donated and worked to support RFAC and to assist the students of the Rockford Public Schools. 

From Mary McNamara Bernsten, executive Director of The Rockford Area Arts Council: “The Rockford Area Arts Council is thrilled to be the recipient of the Fine Arts Coalition’s departing funds. The Arts Council’s mission is to support, promote, and develop access to the arts for everyone. The Coalition’s gift to the Arts Council will make it possible to reach RPS students more effectively and to share our opportunities for exemplary arts apprenticeships and mentorship opportunities. The Arts Council is grateful to be entrusted with this gift, and we will honor the spirit of giving of the donors to the Rockford Fine Arts Coalition.”
